Creativity Art Workshop
Creativity@Tess art workshops are in Lincoln at the centre of the cultural life of Lincoln City, close to the Usher Gallery and The Collection. The creativity group have use of a fully equipped art studio, which is accessible for all. Members of the group have the opportunity to be creative and express themselves freely through art sessions which are designed and supported by fully trained and experienced staff. It’s a ground floor workshop with level access and a Café on site.
Creativity@Tess offers opportunities to people who require support with arts, crafts and other creative activities. Individuals are introduced to a variety of techniques; working on individual or group projects.
Projects can be directly linked to the wider community:
- we have designed and made mosaics for a city community park.
- we design, make and sell festive items at a Christmas fair
- we have worked on a drama production with university students.
- people have entered their work in public art displays and have held their own exhibitions.
We continue to innovate and provide meaningful opportunities within which individuals can express themselves. Being a part of the creativity group also opens the door to meeting like-minded people, progressing social skills and building friendships.
